Electro Havoc V2 v.0.9 released


Following some feedback from the community via the wonderful Godot Discord, I’ve addressed some bugs in the game and launched v.0.9. This version includes these fixes:

  • Adjusted the collision shape of the player, bullet and enemies so there’s less getting stuck on the environment and bullets feel like they actually hit the enemy now
  • Varied chase speed within a wave so enemies move at different paces
  • Increased chase speed and decreased the number of enemies to improve performance
  • Removed gravity from bullets so your projectiles are no longer “limp” ;)

I’m also going to look into the new 2D NavMeshes that was released with Godot 4.2 to further improve enemy pathfinding and hopefully eliminate enemies getting stuck behind walls. Look out for that in future versions!
